Isobel has always adored animals. Growing up, she was obsessed with watching documentaries of wild animals thriving in their natural habitats and she has spent many hours volunteering both physically and virtually for deprived animal shelters. This passion has been lifelong and is the driving force behind her desire to work with Captive Animals.
Isobel has a variety of experience in administrative roles, having spent much of her career working for the NHS. Her passion for the charity sector led her to join the fundraising team of an international development charity as a Supporter Care and Administrative Assistant. However, she felt that her true calling has always been for animal protection. Driven by her commitment to protecting animals and the environment, she decided to start university and is currently working part-time towards a BSc in Environmental Science. Isobel is proud to be part of Captive Animals as a Fundraising and Supporter Care Officer.
I am so excited to be part of this team and feel privileged to have the chance to contribute to Captive Animals’ important work. The charity fights for the rights of animals in a way that creates lasting, meaningful change, and being able to support these efforts is not only important to me but is a huge source of pride.
